Getting to Twin Falls

To get from Jim Jim Falls to Twin Falls we had to bounce around in the truck a bit more and then play Leyland brothers going through a creek crossing with a metre of water over it.

We had to go for a short boat ride between huge cliffs, scramble over more rocks and then walk along a floating walkway to get to Twin Falls. The reasons for the boat and walkway are crocodiles. As the crocodile population increases now that crocodiles are protected, they are starting to move further up the river systems. And they are the estuarine (saltwater) crocs that eat people. Despite their name, they are quite happy to live in freshwater.
