Cane Toads

Cane toads were introduced as a biological control in Queensland. Now the scourge of Qld is moving west to the Northern Territory. Not only are they ugly but they also have a poisonous sac at the back of their necks. This poison wipes out any wildlife that tries to eat them, especially snakes. Cane toads can also poison dogs so they are not nice to have around. There are numerous ways to kill a coad toad but the "humane" way is to put them in the freezer but who wants a freezer full of cane toads?!!

Baby Cane Toad
And this is a baby cane toad sitting on my hand. There were literally thousands of them hopping around in one spot in Kakadu National Park.
