Mary River Puddles

The Mary River starts just before Kakadu. At this location it is just a series of puddles but there are crocodile warning signs. There were lots of palm trees and top end bamboo. The salmon gum trees are gorgeous with their pink trunks and wonderful shapes. Turkey bush is in flower all over the place. From a distance it is a shrub with a haze of pink-mauve flowers but the tiny flowers are quite exquisite.
