Miyajima Deer

I loved the deer on Miyajima. I was sitting on a seat with wooden slats videoing some deer when another one pulled my Japan Rail pass out of my back pocket. I quickly jumped up and tried to pull it out of the deer's mouth but only managed to save most of it. The Japan Rail pass featured an ukiyo-e image from the Edo period - Hokusai's "Stormy Sea off Kanagawa" from the series "Thirty-six Views of Fuji" which was quite pretty until the pass ended up half way down a deer's throat. The pass was also ripped in half but the nice man at the railway station fixed it up with sticky tape when I showed it to him to board the train back to Hiroshima.
