Honeyeaters

Kayla & I went for a quiet stroll on Sunday morning in the reserve opposite our house. We found some of these trees in flower and the honeyeaters were having a ball. The blue-faced honeyeater is common around Katherine at this time of year. The blue face and yellow colouring on the back of its wings is quite distinctive. The grey bird is a mystery* but it also likes these red flowers.
