Flying Fox 2

What amazing animals! They're mammals like us with good eyesight, hearing and sense of smell. Their toes lock them onto the branches of trees so they don't fall off. Their thin membrane wings are waterproof so they can wrap themselves up in their raincoats when it rains. Babies start their first month locked onto their mothers' teats but then the mothers leave them in nurseries while they gather food at night. Eventually the babies learn to take off and fly.
