Brian's Lagoon

Brian's Lagoon was a real treasure. I walked through woodland straight into a rainforest and the contrast was amazing. The woodland was carpetted in tiny flowers of many different types and colours. There were dragonflies whizzing all around me and it was quiet and hot. I encountered a big monitor lizard wandering across the road.

As I moved into the cool, dark rainforest, huge trees and vines were all around me and there were lots of different butterflies. I could hear an amazing number of different birds calling.

The actual lagoon was just a puddle but the journey to it was lovely.
